When We Are Closed

Patients calling out of hours (earlier than 0800 and after 1830) who feel their problem is too urgent to wait until we are open should call the NHS 111 service.

We are informed of all calls to the service and any consultations that they undertake.

Glapwell Phone Line

As of the 5th August 2022, patients will be able to call the Glapwell number 01623 812188 at 8am.
 
This phone line will now divert to Welbeck Road Health Centre from 8am until 8:30am (when Glapwell opens).
This is to try and make it fairer for patients to get an appointment before we are at full capacity for the day.

Glapwell Dispensary - Opening Hours Update

From the week commencing the 3rd of April 2023, our Glapwell Dispensary (NOT Reception), will be opening:
  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons until 17:30pm.
  • Wednesday and Friday will remain the same (close at 13:30pm).

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

We will be closed all afternoon for Training from 12:30 noon on these following dates as below...

There will be no Quest afternoons in December 2023, August 2023 or January 2024.

When we are closed, please visit NHS 111 Online for any medical help or call them on 111. You will then be transferred to a trained Health Advisor.
